Digitized from a shellac record, at 78 revolutions per minute. Four stylii were used to transfer this record. They are 3.8mm truncated conical, 2.3mm truncated conical, 2.8mm truncated conical, 3.3mm truncated conical. These were recorded flat and then also equalized with Turnover: 200Hz, Rolloff: 2120Hz.
The preferred version suggested by an audio engineer at George Blood, L.P. is the equalized version recorded with the 2.3mm truncated conical stylus, and has been copied to have the more friendly filename.

Little is known about this release, this song, or the group. A sweet light waltz, Sometime, performed by the La Page String Quartette might stay a mystery. As for it's label, Gennett was a Richmond, IN minor label from 1917 till the mid-late '40s. It is best known for it's '20s sessions and releases with a slew of household names such as King Oliver, Duke Ellington, Thomas A. Dorset, Vernon Dalhart, Gene Autry, and etc.
